Dandling Yin Yoga pose

Benefits

Mechanic - Decompresses the spine, targets the hamstrings and the Thoraco Lumbar Fascia.
Energetic -  Targets Urinary Bladder Channel relating to the water element.
Mind/Emotions - Stimulating (due to blood flow moving to the head)

Contraindications

Avoid if you have high/low blood pressure. Not advisable in later stage of pregnancy.

Help & Props

You can keep your knees bent if the hamstrings are too tight, also make sure you have the ideal distance between the feet in order to feel stable.   

Timing

Up to 3 minutes as it is a inverted pose and could be demanding.

Releasing the pose

Be mindful when releasing, bend the knees and slowly unfurl your spine accordingly.
